All-Natural Ways to Identify Your Food Allergies and Eliminate Them

Despite of the hurdles they impose, food allergies need not take over your life. You will be happy to know that you can tackle and eliminate food allergies by making a few changes to your lifestyle. Here's what you can do:

1. Get Tested

If you frequently experience conditions like skin eruptions, rashes, belly pains, vomiting, nausea, etc. after eating, it's time you consider testing for food allergy. Maybe you are eating a few foods that do not agree with your system. Food allergy testing is the first step to overcoming the allergic reactions and intolerance. Once you have received the results and know which foods you are allergic to, consult your dietician and prepare for making a few dietary changes.

2. Avoid and Eliminate Food Triggers Accordingly

If you repeatedly experience a severe reaction to a particular food, avoid it completely. Foods that you create mild or moderate reactions can be eliminated gradually over a period of a few weeks. After a while, reintroduce them again one by one, note your body's response to them, and then progressively incorporate them into your mainstream diet. 3. Opt for Rotation Diets

5. Opt for Natural Supplements

Certain natural products act as powerful anti-allergens and help in alleviating allergic symptoms, when followed with an allergy-elimination diet. Some of these are quercetin (a bioflavonoid that reduces inflammation in the gut), milk thistle (an herbal medicine that protects and restores liver function) and insulin (a vegetable fiber that promotes the growth of good bacteria in the gut).

6. Boost Acid Content in Your Stomach

Food allergy occurs due to several complex processes that go on within the body. One such process is the inadequate production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. When there is inadequate hydrochloric acid in the stomach, foreign protein molecules from food cannot be broken down properly, which triggers an allergic reaction. Most are able to address and rectify this situation by taking one or two betaine hydrochloride tablets after meals regularly. These tablets are easily available at all health food stores. It is always advised to consult your doctor prior to taking any medicine.

7. Infuse Your Diet with These Non Allergenic Foods

These foods are least likely to cause allergies and are great sources of nutrition. You must make them a part of your diet. Include lots of green leafy vegetables as they are non-allergenic and provide nourishment. Because younger children are highly susceptible to allergies, feeding them mother's milk is the best way to keep them healthy.

If you are suffering from food allergy, you probably already know that getting sufficient protein for your body is a challenge. Chicken can come to the rescue in such a case. Most people don't react to chicken, which it makes a great source of non-allergenic protein. Also, consuming bone broth made from beef and chicken stock can be a good way to heal a leaky gut. It adds the necessary amino acids and minerals in the intestines to recover from a food allergy.
