Why Women May Have High Testosterone Level
Posted by Amelia Grant of
The hormone testosterone is produced in both womenís and menís organism but in a different amount. In menís body it is produced by testicles, and in womenís body ovaries are responsible for its production. Also, a little part of it is produced by the adrenal glands; it concerns both men and women. Speaking about men, the testosterone is responsible for the sexual development, and in the case of women, it is what helps to regulate the libido and the balance of fat and muscles in the body. The latest scientific investigations discovered that the level of testosterone in the female body increases with age. The menopause is the time when it comes to its biggest amount, sometimes the pregnancy also causes its growth. Testosterone performs a lot of important functions in the peopleís body. It takes part in the development of skeleton and muscles, the normal functioning of bone marrow and sebaceous glands; it means a lot to the nervous system. If its amount is in the measures of the norm, testosterone also takes part in forming of female breasts and providing the proper work of almost all the systems of her body. But if itís too much, it not only spoils a womanís appearance (because the hair on her body becomes dark and stiff and grows intensively) but also can be a serious problem for her fertility. The reasons for wrong testosterone function in the womanís body may be various Ė wrong balance in a daily menu (very often vegan women have such problem), some tumors or medicament treatment, genetic predisposition. In any case, it is a sign that somethingís wrong and the detailed medical diagnostic is required. How to put the hormone down to its norm? The daily menu must contain meat, white bread, honey, fresh juices, a little of sugar and salt, natural oils, dairy, and caffeine. Of course, this wonít be enough and also the hormonal therapy or PCOS treatment is required. The doctor will appoint all the necessary analyses and will determine the treatment strategies according to their results.Click Here for Provider's Detail Page
